I had both solar panels (+batteries) and a heat pump installed by Green Flare. These people really know their stuff, and will go the extra mile to make sure your installation is a success. The heat pump model they use is amazing, far better than the low-end models you get from energy suppliers (huge COP and extremely quiet). As for solar, the quote from my energy supplier said they could only fit 4 panels on my roof: Green Flare had a proper look and got 11 on there (and fixed my roof while they were at it!).

I needed a custom hot water setup (photo attached - pure craftsmanship) which naturally had some teething problems, but they were up to the challenge, tweaking and fixing until it worked perfectly. I absolutely recommend Green Flare and their products, and I'm very glad I didn't go with a generic one-size-fits-all, churn-it-out-and-move-on type of installer.

We recently had GreenFlare install an air source heat pump and underfloor heating in our home, and we couldnt be happier with the service and results. Green Flare completed the installation of my 19-panel plus 12.4kWH battery and invertor a few weeks ago. It is working brilliantly, with big reductions in my energy consumption already. Tom went through the design of the system with me initially. He's a real expert and he has a system on his own house, so he advises from personal experience so provides much practical advice.

He didn't try to sell me extra bits. For example, a car charger. He advised it was best to wait until I got an electric car, as the charger technology may have improved by then. Joe in the office was extremely helpful, coordinating the installation with my builder's programme. The guys who fitted the system (Clay, Matt, Alex and the team) were extremely collaborative, ultra-helpful and very polite.

They are very professional and were responsive and keen to listen to our comments - even down to changing the colour of some trunking. I am delighted with the service, the quality of the system and the results. Thanks again guys, you have one very happy customer here!

Green Flare were amongst a number of companies we approached for a quotation to provide solar panels to the village hall. The boss, Tom was more than helpful and always available to answer our questions. He has an easy going, knowledgable personality and nothing is too much trouble. His communications skills are excellent and we were able to understand what we wanted and the cost (without VAT!) Green Flare had to bid for the 'grant funded' work but were the cheapest yet most comprehensive bid.

They are also local to the site. They managed the scaffolders and dealt with the integration with the battery, inverter and linking to provide and income from the National Grid. Green Flare did everything and more that we wanted and know they are just a phone call away if we have any queries understanding the App showing what we are generating! Greenflare originally came onboard as the heat pump supplier to backup the MVHR unit we were interested in installing. They ended up solving all our problems to do with renewable energy on our project. They managed the entire GSHP instillation including the boreholes, ground floor underfloor heating, cooling linked into the MVHR system, hot water tucked away in the loft and solar including batteries.

In doing so they overcame all the technical challenges of installing such a system in a 1930s semi. Matt and Ollie were great to work with on the GSHP and the guys on the solar just got on and did their job as well. Greenflare really did deliver. Were now living in a zero carbon house having had the gas disconnected, using a green electricity supplier (Octopus) and now that the days are getting longer generating most of the power we use! We are very happy with then service provided by Greenflare.

Moved into a property with a heat pump installed by Green Flare. I am in awe at the way it has been installed and the efficiency of the Mitsubishi pump. Additionally, they are at the end of a phone to speak and advise if like you are long in the tooth and determined to understand the new technology. I've just had an air source heat pump installed by Green Flare and so far I've been very impressed by its performance, though it is early days. I decided to go for the more expensive option, which offered additional reliability and the possibility of the pump being repaired remotely, as the pump was for a holiday let. Before the pump, heating and hot water were provided by a wood burner with a back boiler, a very labour intensive and not very convenient system.

The team who installed the pump were hard-working, polite and very careful with the fabric of the cottage. I would definitely recommend Green Flare to anyone thinking of installing an air source heat pump.

I wanted green flare to come down to Cornwall and fit my solar pv panels. I wanted the best. Zak, clay and Tom came and stayed in our annexe and did a perfect, outstanding job. So pleased. The lads were clean, tidy and extremely good workers. The weather in oct 22 was awful for them, high winds and rain on the isolated north coast. The guys had a constant smile. Following a recommendation we contacted Tom at Green Flare. The advice was professional, objective with options clearly explained and set out. We appointed Green Flare to install an ASHP and full underfloor heating and hot water system for our barn conversion. I had been thinking about installing a heat pump for a while as our old oil boiler was on its last legs, but I had found it impossible to find an installer who knew what they were talking about. Then I spoke to Tom. He was a revelation, it was clear that he did fully understand the technology and he did not try to sell me anything which would not work in my old house.

I had initially contacted Tom because they deal with Stiebel Eltron but he ended up suggesting a Mitsubishi Ecodan as it was more suitable for our application. He surveyed the site and proposed a system, and then he and Aaron installed it in a matter of weeks. Aaron was prepared to take the time to install it in a way which worked best for us and the quality of his workmanship is superb.

Heat pump systems are more complex than boilers and you need someone who knows what they are doing. The system is working well, it is much quieter than the oil boiler, and it is more controllable. I would recommend GreenFlare whole-heartedly.

We had Matt and the team install an ASHP and replace our very very old boiler. They did a great job and communicated well all through that work. They provided us with a few options. We wanted to reduce our carbon footprint and reduce our heating bills. Green Flare replaced a very old oil fired boiler system with an Air Source Heat Pump, also installing some solar panels on the roof. We did this in conjunction with some major insulation works. Result: From a cold and damp house to a warm and dry house saving us nearly 1,000 a year on energy bills. Have run the system through two full winters now and still very satisfied.

Green Flare installed my solar PV as well as a air source heat pump and solar thermal. They also installed all our radiators, underfloor heating, plumbed our entire house and set up a Honeywell thermostat system that works really well. Tom helped me through the process of heat incentives available at the time and we worked out a design that we're very happy with and has been incredibly reliable. The system was installed through an extended build time and Tom was patient as we slowly refurbished our house and gave us vital information and advice through our build.

Greenflare serviced our solar tubes that had been installed 16 years ago by another supplier. Very efficient and friendly service.

I invested in a highly complex solar panel system 10 years ago when I renovated my house, which was installed by another company. Within 2 years it wasn't working properly and the company had gone AWOL. British Gas wouldn't touch it as they said it was too complicated. Tom was recommended by someone locally. He quickly identified the issue and replaced the faulty part with a much better system.

Over the last couple of years, he has saved me hundreds of pounds, as the solar power now generates all of my hot water throughout the summer. Recently, I have had some concerns over the boiler again and he has been quick to offer fixes, even when out-of-hours. Can't recommend highly enough.
